Your Challenges

✔ Together with the customer, you will define the requirements for the data projects.

✔ You will specify the technical aspects and implement data pipelines with modern technologies (Azure Cloud, Google Cloud, AWS, KNIME, etc.).

✔ You will develop tailor-made solutions with intelligent algorithms for large datasets, from designing the architecture to visualizing results in meaningful dashboards.

✔ You will design and implement simulation and what-if models to assess and support complex supply chain and logistics decisions based on data (digital-twin).

✔ You will be part of a mixed team (Log-hub & customer) and act as a link and translator between business units, IT, and solution development.

✔ You enjoy tackling tactical and strategic supply chain & logistics challenges – customized demand forecasting, automated route optimization, network design analyses, changing production sites based on the BOM, etc.

What You Bring

✔ A completed degree (Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or similar) and a passion for quickly getting to grips with new topics

✔ Initial experience in data engineering/analytics, e.g., through an internship or trainee program

✔ Passion for innovative technologies, methods, and topics such as data engineering, analytics, machine learning, AI, big data, simulations, cloud platforms, and agile working methods (e.g., Scrum)

✔ Initial experience with data technologies is an advantage, e.g., Microsoft Azure Synapse/Fabric, Databricks/Spark, Snowflake, Google BigLake, AWS Lake Formation, etc.

✔ A team player with strong communication skills who shares expertise with others

✔ Professional demeanour and fluency in English
