We are seeking a Deputy CTO to shape our next-generation End-to-End Supply Chain Planning platform – one product connecting demand, supply, inventory, production and distribution planning across strategic, tactical and operational horizons. 

You act as the Product Owner of this product: you bring the domain expertise of a Senior Implementation Consultant for end-to-end planning suites such as Kinaxis, o9 Solutions, Blue Yonder or SAP IBP, and translate real planning practice into software. You define the what and the why our engineering team builds it. 

You need not be a development expert, but you are genuinely excited about software and technology: you enjoy working closely with developers, thinking in data and logic, and exploring what AI can do for planners. ✔ Own the product vision, roadmap and backlog of our new End-to-End Supply Chain Planning product. 

✔ Act as Product Owner: write functional specifications and user stories, define acceptance criteria, and review increments with the development team. 

✔ Translate the end-to-end planning cycle into product logic and data models –  demand forecasting, S&OP / IBP, supply and capacity planning, inventory optimization, network and distribution planning. 

✔ Ensure the modules form one integrated plan: consistent master data, aligned planning horizons, and a closed loop from strategic network design to operational execution. 

✔ Design cross-functional planning workflows, scenarios, KPIs and analytics that planners actually use.

✔ Shape the AI-assisted planning experience with the CTO – agents, recommendations, conversational access to planning data. 

✔ Collaborate directly with customers through workshops, demos and pilots, iterating in short development cycles. 

✔ Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 

✔ Minimum 8 years in supply chain planning, several of them as Senior Implementation / Solution Consultant for enterprise planning software.

✔ Hands-on implementation experience with an end-to-end supply chain planning suite: Kinaxis (RapidResponse / Maestro), o9, Blue Yonder (JDA), SAP IBP / APO or comparable.

✔ At least 2–3 full lifecycle implementations, from requirements through design, testing and go-live.

✔ Proven end-to-end perspective: forecasting, S&OP / IBP, constrained supply planning and multi-echelon inventory optimization – and a clear understanding of how these processes interlock.

✔ Strong affinity for software and technology: advanced Excel, able to read SQL and reason about data structures, curious about AI-assisted development tools, comfortable in technical discussions with engineers.

✔ Experience with agile development teams as Product Owner, Business Analyst or functional lead.

✔ Advanced proficiency in English (C1), with strong communication skills and a proactive, professional, and friendly approach to teamwork.

✔ DASCM / APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP), or product certification in Kinaxis, o9, Blue Yonder or SAP IBP.

✔ Experience on the software vendor or consulting side, including pre-sales and demos.

✔ Knowledge of optimization, simulation and ML forecasting concepts, and of SaaS product development.
