Within this function, you will combine business development, product sales, aftersales and project support by acting as a senior consultant. You will manage and strengthen the Log-hub partner program and support the resellers in order to enlarge the overall sales pipeline. By acting as a senior consultant, you will further be the contact for our customers and support them in all areas where needed. A special focus will have the training program for Log-hub’s customers, which you will lead as organizer lecturer/tutor, with the target of satisfying, stabilizing and keeping contracted customers and supporting them within logistics reengineering projects. You’ll have a deep understanding in the area of Supply Chain Design and Optimization in order to bring more expertise in sales cycles and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Working on overall business development and product sales for all Log-hub product pillars and support and manage all sales channels (direct and indirect)
  • Activate and manage customer sales cycles according to our central sales processes
  • Manage the partner program and support franchise partner and resellers within their sales cycles
  • Act as a key account manager for existing and new customers
  • Support existing customers with expertise, training and applied methodologies in the area of supply chain design and optimization
  • Manage Log-hub training program and execute online training modules as an organizer, lecturer and tutor •Provide supply chain design and optimization as project lead, subject matter expert or training partner
  • Provide expertise in integrated distribution and transportation network analysis, covering an optimum number of facilities, location consolidation/compression planning, facility functionality warehousing, cross-docking, reverse logistics, distribution simulation, transportation strategies, value-added services, etc.
  • Management of customer expectations in terms of time, quality and cost
  • Develop well-engineered solutions that either resolve the identified customer issues or that lead to the desired customer end-state
  • Develop, maintain and apply methodologies and standard approach for supply chain design and optimization and further support the product development
  • Enhancement of supply chain engineering/design/simulation in accordance with the present/future logistic trends/techniques

Requirements and qualifications

  • Very good knowledge of supply chain management, their processes and logistics business
  • Ideally formal education or experience in the logistics industry
  • The will to be active on sales, customer satisfaction and on supply chain projects
  • Strong general organizational and administrative background
  • Strong affinity with required customer quality standards
  • Project management discipline
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Language skills: English plus further European language ideally German or French
  • Ability to communicate with local colleagues, as well as with partners and clients on a professional level
  • Strong analytical mind and excellent knowledge of using MS Office with the ability to analyze comprehensive data
  • Analytical mind in other data analytics platforms or strong willingness in developing in this direction
  • Deep and fast comprehension of complex logistical situations and potential scenarios
  • Master degree in logistics or business administration
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience within logistics analytics
