How Log-hub is Equipping the Next Generation of Supply Chain Leaders at IIEBM Pune

Log-hub was invited to speak at IIEBM Indus Business School in Pune to address the new PGDM (2025–27) batch under the theme “Preparing Minds, Shaping Future.” The session offered students a practical perspective on how supply chain decision-making is evolving, combining industry insights with real-world applications.

Log-hub’s Partners Manager, Ananya Das, delivered an engaging session titled “Decision Intelligence in Action: Learning Today What the Industry Demands Tomorrow.” The presentation focused on a critical gap in the education-to-employment pipeline, preparing students not just with theory, but with the mindset, skillsets, and toolsets needed to make smart decisions in fast-moving business environments.

Through this lens, Ananya introduced the concept of Decision Intelligence, the ability to blend data, analytics, and human judgment to make real-time, impactful decisions. She emphasized four key traits for future professionals: adaptability, integrity, professionalism, and the ability to learn quickly, traits that go beyond technical know-how to reflect what companies actually value today.

Bringing Theory to Life

Through partnerships with Log-hub, several universities have established AI and Supply Chain Labs that give students the opportunity to turn theory into practice by working on real-world cases with live data using Log-hub’s tools.

Following Ananya’s talk, Sujay Mudhole, Log-hub’s Supply Chain Consultant, took the stage to give students a live demonstration of Log-hub’s Supply Chain Apps, a tool featuring 30+ applications tailored for supply chain optimization. He simulated a general workflow, showcasing how users can model, simulate, and optimize supply chains, from transport and inventory to warehousing and network design.

The session was attended by over 450 students, who participated actively with questions and shared their impressions and insights. One student commented:

“Her insights gave us not just knowledge, but clarity, direction, and confidence to approach the future with a growth mindset.”

A key moment in the session was an interactive debate exercise called “Gaining Experience with Intelligent Decision-Making.” Students took on the roles of presenters and decision-makers, discussing the benefits and challenges of implementing Supply Chain Apps in a company setting. The debate encouraged critical thinking around cost, ROI, usability, and risk, mirroring real-world business decisions. Additional activities, like creating a personal readiness map, helped students identify their development goals, foster self-reflection, and set the tone for intentional learning from day one.

Academic Program: Real Tools for Future Professionals

Log-hub’s Academic Program was also introduced during the event. Designed to bridge the theory-practice divide, it offers free PRO licenses to universities, professors, and students to work with Log-hub’s Supply Chain Apps. The program allows students to experiment with complex optimization tasks, run simulations, and analyze data using the same tools employed by global supply chain professionals.

Already adopted by institutions worldwide, any university with a curriculum focused on supply chain management and optimization can apply to join the program.

The IIEBM event wasn’t just academic, it was also a convergence of leading industry minds, featuring speakers from Tata Technologies, Enterprise Solutions, Tech Mahindra, NSE India, IBM, UpGrad, Dynamic Logistics.

After the session, Ananya and Sujay participated in a networking lunch with fellow speakers, where they had the chance to exchange ideas and introduce Log-hub’s mission and solutions to leaders attending.
