Which matrix type should I choose?
Base your choice on the nature of your freight cost modeling. Use an absolute matrix for straightforward cost assignments or a relative matrix when cost calculations require scaling factors and adjustments via parameters like Price per Unit.
How does the degression constraint in Matrix Creator influence my results?
When enabled, the degression constraint applies a decreasing rate for higher shipment weights or longer distances, aligning cost estimates with industry pricing models.
Why are some orders listed under External Orders?
Orders may appear in External Orders if they cannot be included in any optimized route due to capacity, time window, external costs, or other logistical constraints. Review these orders to adjust parameters or consider alternative handling (e.g., outsourcing). Please double check the external orders whether they are defined too low, if so, please increase their value so the engine will take them into consideration and not assign them to an external provider. Also, check the distances between the depot and orders related to them whether the vehicle contraints are adjusted properly.
